"sai®" was born as if guided by a mysterious force.
"sai®" was born from a completely mysterious force. In 1995, we encountered a certain metal—platinum. We felt an unprecedented attraction to this enigmatic metal and began developing platinum colloid. However, this endeavor started without any clear purpose or product in mind, differing entirely from typical product development. Unique experiments were repeatedly conducted, and in June 1996, we succeeded in producing platinum colloid.
The purpose for using "sai®" was decided through another curious event. Initially, we considered industrial applications for the colloidal platinum nanoparticles we created. Around that time, we received an article from the 1936 American issue of Reader's Digest. The article mentioned that, even then, the Rockefeller Institute in the U.S. had conducted experiments on cells and predicted that research on metal colloids would pave the way to the pinnacle of human knowledge. We also received a newspaper article stating that Dr. Hideyo Noguchi had discovered the beneficial effects of metal colloids on the human body over 40 years ago at that time of newspaper published. We saw these events as guiding signs and decided to aim for creating a drinkable platinum colloid.
The development team members drank it for six months, and then we distributed it for free to a few interested individuals. About two and a half years later, as various results from the consumption emerged, we received requests to start selling it. Encouraged by these requests, we conducted various tests to prove its properties and safety. Consequently, we received approval for it as a soft drink, which is usually considered difficult. Thus, the world's first platinum colloid beverage was born. Guided by many forces, we can now deliver "sai®" to everyone.
